Dr. Adam is a respected and experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist practicing at Mediclinic Constantiaberg in Plumstead. She graduated in 2005 with a MBBCh degree from Wits University in Johannesburg. Dr Adam then went on to complete her Masters of Medicine in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Stellenbosch University in 2012 and specialised in obstetrics and gynaecology at Tygerberg Hospital. She joined the college of medicine as a fellow in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2012.
She has publications in journals covering topics in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has been a guest speaker at several conferences, presenting her research. Throughout the year, she is a regular speaker at women’s health workshops and lectures.
As a doctor, woman, and mom herself, she understands that no two women or births are alike. She takes an individual approach to all patients who walk through her doors. She listens to her patients’ needs and addresses them in a professional, yet caring manner. It is important to her that her patients are comfortable and informed during their time with her. One of her favourite quotes sums up how she attends to her patients:

Her view on pregnancy is that it is a spiritual experience leading to one of the happiest to becoming a family.
